By now it is old news, but Steve Irwin, aka "The Crocodile Hunter", died on Monday, September 4, 2006.  I didn’t watch his show that often (those of you who know me knew that I didn’t have cable or satellite tv), but when I was hanging out at Brent’s we did catch it once in awhile.  One thing that I always loved about him was his enthusiasm for the animals he was covering in the show.  With that kind of enthusiasm, one can’t help but enjoy learning about the animals who spent prime time with The Crocodile Hunter.  There are many more (and better) tributes out there for him.  But I did want to post my sadness at his death.  He is probably the first celebrity whose death I actually felt a little sad about.  Crikey, he will be missed!
